Day 23...Saturday Update

Sam and Karly enjoyed a lazy morning hanging out together. She is amazed at the many food conversations and really gets what I mean now about the whole food obsession. I'm telling you, it is bizzaro! With Karly here with Sam, I was able to go for a long walk along the beach. It was a beautiful morning, the tide was out, and I had a chance to talk with God in his setting.

Karly and Sam were anxious to meet with cousins and do something. We met up with Auntie Noni, Becky, Amy and Hannah to see Grandma and Grandpas new condo suite in Elim Village in Surrey. Wow, that place is spectacular and absolutely perfect. Sam walked the furthest he has in 3 weeks and was tired by the end, leaning on me heavily. We all went to a mall close by try and find some sweats for Sam, no luck...he's quite particular and its the wrong season to be stocking them. We had fun wheeling him around, chatting, eating at the food court, and laughing. After this great visit, Sam and Karly wanted to go to my sister Donna's and visit with Glenn, Murphy, and Zoe( and their two adorable dogs). So off we went! Sam has more energy today because of the blood transfusion he received yesterday. The Doctor said it would perk him up a bit and it certainly did. We hung out, visited the Holliers too, walked to the park, had a delicious dinner, and came home a little tired, but very happy! Donna, my sister is having a sleep over tonight, so Karly and I can go to church together on Sunday morning. Later on my Dad will come over for his birthday celebration. He's 84! Another exciting day to look forward to.

Hoping for sunshine, Debbie
